I love yarn. I love to pick it out, design with it,
knit it, wear it.
Rediscovering Knitting
I grew up in Seattle and spent most of my working life in banking. Along the way, I rediscovered the knitting my grandmother had taught me. Like many of you, I started by making baby clothes for my two children. I took classes, knitted and unraveled, crocheted and unraveled, and collected magazines, books, patterns, and yarn—lots and lots of yarn.
Teaching and Designing

With help and encouragement from friends, especially Fontelle Jones at Great Yarns! in Everett, Washington, I began teaching and designing more than 30 years ago. I designed my first sweater because I couldn’t find a pattern that suited my taste, fit me, and worked with the yarn I had. Sound familiar?
Since then, I’ve designed for a number of companies and I currently design for Trendsetter Yarns.
My other passion is walking the Camino de Santiago. The next
adventure with my daughter is planned for May & June 2027!!
